EcoWalls, LLC is a full service living wall firm located in Bordentown, New Jersey. The company, founded in 2008, had one simple goal in mind. Provide a sustainable product that would not only perform but perform using fewer resources. This goal has been the driving force behind EcoWalls success which has extended its reach throughout the United States. Through key partnerships and collaborations, EcoWalls is able to work closely with design professionals interested in promoting green infrastructure.
Our offices reside at the Rutgers EcoComplex where we have a state-of-the-art facility and greenhouse complex. The EcoComplex offers a unique environment to foster the growth of EcoWalls. The facility provides access to academic, government and private sector resources that help to commercialize our products while at the same time nurturing new concepts and innovations. At the greenhouse complex, EcoWalls maintains 7,000 sq. ft. of production space. The facility’s history is rooted in aquaponic food production and hydroponic growing methods. Our skill set and knowledge base has built on this foundation so that we offer our clients an unmatched level of expertise in a wide range of applications. The greenhouse facility provides us with a hub to grow out plant material or hold it over for particular jobs. We also have several demonstration living walls on display and conduct numerous studies on nutrient regimes and plant suitability. For those interested parties, we do offer tours of the greenhouse by appointment. If your interested in learning more about our living walls systems, please contact us to set up an appointment. We would love to hear from you.
“We are architects of vertical landscapes, using nature as our inspiration. Natural vertical gardens provide valuable lessons; teaching us about plant adaptations, ecology and sustainability.” – Michael Coraggio, Founder
EcoWalls® is replacing the green footprint in urban environments. We offer our clients a unique opportunity to connect with nature in unexpected spaces; creating lush gardens on building façades, free standing structures, and other impervious vertical surfaces. Our vertical gardens provide clients with the holistic benefits of living plants; improving the aesthetic and overall biologic nature of the built environment.
